PRESENT ACTIVITIES
NAI DHARTI is a charitable organization and engaging ourselves in any commercial activity will be against the principles and spirit of the Organization. Earlier also, during our association with NABARD, while working on Women’s Economic empowerment, any income generated from the activities was ploughed back to our SHG members.
This time our employees, mostly belonging to the grassroot level, have formed a producer’s trust, viz. SWASHAKTI MAHILA UTPADAK TRUST, with NAI DHARTI as settlor, so that we may provide the necessary guidance and supervision. The trust is now engaged in training, production and marketing of food products and stitched items, through its members.

PAST ACTIVITIES
This was our main focus area from 2005-2010. The main projects were as under.
1. NABARD RIF Project – It included formation of self help groups of poor rural Women, provide them training in Food processing, Bag & Folder making and Computer Screen Printing, facilitate production and arrange for marketing of the Products, assisted by NABARD.
2. Project SEWIKA– Under this project, we trained up 50 poor women in Home Nursing from a reputed hospital and arranged for their placement, assisted by Women Development Corporation.
3. Project Kalyani – We ran this project on our own, providing shelter and rehabilitation to a number of destitute women, including beggars and mentally challenged destitute.
